1. Use of the App

Holy Mode is an iOS application that helps users guard their attention by blocking selected apps using Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. Access to core functionality requires an active subscription.

You may only use the app for its intended purpose. Any misuse, including attempts to bypass or manipulate its blocking features, is prohibited.

2. No Account Required

You are not required to create an account to use Holy Mode's core features. Blocking settings are stored locally on your device. Joining the community creates a profile associated with your device.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

The app is free to download, but a paid subscription is required to access key features. Payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, except as required by applicable law or Apple's own policies.

4. Community Content

Holy Mode includes an optional community where you can post, comment, react, and chat. You are responsible for what you post.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Objectionable content includes content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that impersonates another person. Abusive behaviour toward other members is not permitted under any circumstances.

Reporting, blocking, and our response

You can report any post, comment, or message from within the app, and you can block any user at any time. Blocking immediately hides that person's content from you.

We review every report we receive and act within 24 hours by removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided it. Ejected users lose access to the community and may be barred from creating a new profile.

By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content inside the app. You can delete your content and profile at any time from within the app.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app:

• Superwall for paywall presentation and subscription handling.
• Amplitude for analytics and session replay.
• Singular for install attribution.
• Supabase for the community and support messaging.

How these services handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. Data is never sold or shared with third parties for their own advertising.

6. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Use the app for unlawful or unintended purposes.
• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent its core functions.
• Exploit bugs or errors in the app.

We reserve the right to restrict access if the app is used in ways that violate these terms or compromise its functionality.

7. Age Requirement

The app is intended for users who are able to engage with its spiritual purpose. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use by minors.

8. Spiritual Content

Scripture and devotional content in Holy Mode are intended for inspirational and devotional use only. They are not a substitute for professional, pastoral, or theological advice.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding effectiveness, availability, or uninterrupted operation, including of the app-blocking features, which depend on Apple's Screen Time framework.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of Holy Mode.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
